Kobe K. Gipson received his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2026. He primarily practices in transactional matters, including business formation and governance, real estate, probate and estate planning, and energy resource transactions.
While in law school, Kobe was recognized on the Dean's Honor Roll and received an American Jurisprudence Award for his work in the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic. His article, "Beneath the Surface: Addressing the Ownership and Development Rights of Geothermal Energy Resources Under Oklahoma Property Law," was also selected for publication in the Oil and Natural Energy Journal (ONE-J), a law review published by the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
A native Oklahoman from Tipton, Oklahoma, Kobe earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma, before attending the University of Oklahoma College of Law. His background and education have given him a strong connection to Oklahoma and an appreciation for the people, businesses, land, and natural resources that make the state unique.
Outside of his practice, Kobe enjoys golfing, watching sports, spending time with his dog, and being around family and friends. He is an avid Oklahoma Sooners fan and enjoys following the teams throughout the year.
